Every page on DostIpo is held to one standard: a reader should be able to distinguish, without guessing, between verified fact, estimate and opinion. Data pulled from an exchange or registrar is presented as data. GMP is always labelled an unofficial estimate. Our verdicts are always labelled analysis. Nothing is published in a way that blurs these lines.
Every factual figure is verified against its primary source, the company's DRHP or RHP, BSE/NSE filings, SEBI disclosures, or the official registrar. When a figure cannot be verified from a primary source, it is published only with the label "Data not yet officially available". Data is never invented to fill a page, and placeholders are never dressed up to look like real numbers.
During live offer periods the platform refreshes automatically roughly every twenty minutes; GMP and subscription figures move with those cycles. Every data block carries the time of its last update so you can judge freshness for yourself. Long-form reports regenerate from the same verified dataset, a headline never disagrees with its own table.
If an error is found, by us or by a reader, it is corrected promptly and the timestamp on the affected page updates so readers know exactly when the change was made. Material corrections to analysis pieces are made transparently rather than silently edited. To report an error, use the contact page and include the page URL and the figure in question.
We are candid about this: DostIpo uses automation and AI at several stages of its pipeline. Automated collectors fetch and organise public data. Language models help draft narrative text around verified datasets. What AI is never allowed to do: invent numbers, present unverified claims as fact, impersonate a human financial expert, or publish without checks. Every article that involves analysis passes factual verification against the dataset before publication, and the editorial desk reviews output regularly.
DostIpo does not accept payment from issuers, underwriters, brokers or investor-relations firms to alter, rank, promote or suppress coverage. There are no 'sponsored reviews'. If a commercial relationship ever creates a potential conflict, it will be disclosed on the page concerned. We hold no position-trading operation around the IPOs we cover.
Editorial verdicts (apply / avoid / watch) come from a documented framework: valuation versus peers, balance-sheet trend, promoter dilution, subscription breadth across investor categories, and grey-market signals, in that order of weight. GMP deliberately carries the least weight because it is the noisiest signal. The framework is applied uniformly to every issue; we do not do takedowns or favours.
